Ruby has settled into the routine very well and is driving the Border Collies to distraction in the nicest possible way. Irene and Mike have certainly had their eyes opened by this very beautiful young lady as she is so very different in her behavior, habits and attitude to the Border Collies they have now or the Bearded Collies they have had in the past.

This is an exciting time for Irene, Mike and Ruby as, although she is not their first gundog, there has been  32 years between Amba (an English Springer Spaniel) and Ruby in which a great deal about dogs has been learned.

Ruby has now been to a number of shows and has acquitted herself very well for such a young girl, her best award being a second under a breed specialist.  She is making progress at each outing and, being a new breed for us, it's taking us a little time to get accustomed to their little ways !

Although she travels with Harry she does not see him that often as Harry does not live in the house, but when she does see him it's almost a case of "my hero"!  Ruby took her time settling in with both Gina and Becky but all of them are now getting on really well.
